In the development of plastic molds for electronic cigarette product structural parts for domestic customers, our company conducted in-depth research and optimization of the mold cooling system. The cooling method initially specified by the customer was a single-channel nozzle water channel design (see Figure 1). Although this solution has the advantage of relatively low mold manufacturing costs, it exposes the problem of a long injection cycle during the injection molding production process.
Our technical team implemented the optimization design through innovative thinking and the use of advanced technology, and introduced 3D printing cooling design (see Figure 2). After actual production verification, the optimized solution has achieved remarkable results: the injection cycle (Circle time) was successfully shortened by 8 seconds, the injection molding capacity was increased by 25%, and the dimensional stability of the injected plastic products was significantly enhanced. This optimization result not only meets the customer's strict requirements for production efficiency and product quality, but also exceeds customer expectations.
The customer highly praised the optimization solution proposed by our company and listed our company as a long-term strategic partner. The success of this cooperation demonstrates our company's technical strength and innovation capabilities in the field of mold design and manufacturing, and also lays a solid foundation for further expansion of business cooperation in the future.
